Emily & Joel aren't going to be officially married until November 3rd of 2012... We were so glad to have had this early of an engagement session opportunity with them! We were able to pick a gorgeous spring day and had a blast getting to know them. We laughed, explored Krueger's Farm on Sauvie Island and played around with the beautiful puffy-cloud-sky that we were so lucky to get. A beautiful day and an equally beautiful couple! We can't wait for their wedding day at Skamania Lodge!

Meet Keri & Tucker. They are two beautiful people who met up with us yesterday for their engagement session. Following our suggestions, they dressed perfectly! Not only that, they are super sweet and always smiling. It was a challenge for us to find secluded areas at Portland's Waterfront on a (rare!) bright and sunny Portland saturday... but we were certainly aided by the fact that they are so loving towards one another and willing to follow us from place to place. It was a very very very fun time and we can't wait for their August wedding at the gorgeous King Estate! Here are a few of the images taken with so many more to come! <3

Kris and Brian (and Sophie the pug!) were great to photograph. First of all, Kris is GORGEOUS! Secondly, the day was warm, sunny and beautiful. Thirdly, they brought Sophie the pug for part of their shoot! We love dogs and being able to include them in some of the photography is something we definitely advocate... they are part of the family! ;)

The day was fabulous. Despite taking about half an hour to find each other in the park (haha!) we had a great time. We roamed around the Washington Park Rose Garden for a bit and then drove to the main library for some indoor, book-related photography.
