Exciting Volunteer Opportunity: U.S.-Japan-South Korea Legislative Exchange Program
The U.S.-Japan-South Korea Legislative Exchange Program (LEP/TLEP) is looking for eight student volunteers, preferably with Japanese and/or Korean language skills, to help organize and staff a trilateral summit between legislators from the three countries from May 8-10 on Capitol Hill. Responsibilities include contacting members of Congress, preparing meeting materials, and escorting Japanese and South Korean parliamentarians to and from program events. Students will have the opportunity to attend meeting sessions and meals with participants. Training will take place the week of March 19. Work schedules are flexible, but volunteers must be available to devote 6 hours per week beginning in late March and must be able to help staff the meetings. Please send your resume to Michael Wain at mikewain@gwu.edu by March 8 or call (202) 994-8744 for further information.
