~ Kranji Heritage Trail - Jurong Frog Farm ~

Continuing our Kranji Heritage Trail, we visited the Jurong Frog Farm which is located not too far away from Hay Dairies

Do take note of the operating hours if you would like to visit the farm as they are close on Mondays and weekdays are only open for tour booking.

Apart from the friendly froggies, one other unique feature of the Jurong Frog Farm (aka JFF) is the colourful and interesting drawings and wordings painted on the walls.

We hopped by JFF after our visit to the Hay Dairies and went on a free and easy tour around the farm ourselves. Gladys get to understand the life cycle of a frog through the displays and we also purchased a box of frog feed at $2 to feed the froggies.

We visited the frogs' holding area and they seem to be resting. Denver & Gladys threw food into their 'lair' but it seems our little amphibian friends are pretty full and not responding to the food. :) As the sign says, "If the frogs aren't eating the food, don't be too HARD on yourself!"

We hopped by the mating pond and saw more frogs and fishes. The children decided to feed the fishes instead since they had no luck with the frogs.

I love the drawings on the walls which is eye-catching and comes with a bit of humor.

Our last stop is visiting the Royal Frog Shop where visitors can purchase some souvenirs or try some froggie treats.
Food and Souvenirs selection

Since it was our first visit, we decided to go for the deep fried frog meat at $10. The portion was pretty little but the children thought it didn't taste as bad as they thought it would be.

Jurong Frog Farm has a variety of tour packages for school and families to participate. Check out their fun tour packages to see what they have to offer.
