Aspen Institute India is delighted to announce the “Aspen India - Avantha International Fellowship 2012” for the second year. We are once again looking for two motivated international students to come to Delhi, during the summer of 2012.
Candidates should ideally be from the field of International Relations/ International Development Studies/ South Asian Studies, who want to gain broad knowledge of the world of philanthropy, social reform and development in India. Students pursuing a Masters program are preferred, though applications from seniors in a Bachelors program may also be considered.
As “Fellows” the two selected candidates will learn about the social, political and economic issues facing the world’s largest democracy. In addition to international exposure and leadership experience, the Fellows will gain firsthand experience on these issues, and learn from the best practices and expert minds in the field. They will also have the opportunity to actively support Aspen India in their ongoing leadership programs, outreach seminars, workshops, conferences, and other related events where applicable.
This would be two month program; the dates would be flexible and based on international university schedule.
