We have never been to Chingay before and can only catch parts of the parade through photos and on television. Usually held at the end of CNY holiday, Chingay is an annual street parade, famous for its beautiful and colourful floats and multi-cultural local and international performances. There are also times where the floats go through the Heartlands and we may catch a glimpse of the extravaganza.
